The Therapeutic Adventure Program (TAP) is an exciting program that was created to meet the needs of consumers and their families in a therapeutic setting. The program aligns with the Mission and Vision of the Agency “helping families and children put the pieces together” by providing:

  • Transportation to the families we serve
  • Meals provided to all consumers and families who participate in the program
  • Engages families in the therapeutic process through tribunals.  In this process families sit with the team to discuss disruptive behaviors, triggers and problems that hamper treatment
  • Field trips for positive behavior reinforcement
  • Community Service Events
  • Independent Living Skills
  • Saturday Morning Exercise and Meditation Group
  • Bullying Intervention and Prevention
  • Tutoring
  • Play, dance, and music therapy
  • Youth job training
  • Indoor gym and basketball court
  • Community group for peer issues
  • Provide skill based groups to overcome many of the obstacles met in school and in daily living activities.  Most consumers in TAP program increase their school, home and community performance.
